Caribbean Maritime Consulting Services
The marine surveyor in the CaribbeanThe history of CMCS is closely linked to my background.
And this journey is first and foremost a life spent sailing. Holder of a captain 1st class certificate in the merchant navy, I had a long career as a sailor and captain.
The launch of CMCS in 2015 is a natural evolution. It is about putting more than thirty years of experience and survey at your service.
My journey
Local and recognized survey
To guarantee my survey, I was trained in the university diploma of Expert Maritime & Transport.
CMCS is based in Guadeloupe,
but beyond the island, I accompany you throughout the entire Caribbean.
Professional or private individual, insurer, shipowner, transporter,
in the merchant navy, fishing or yachting: whatever your background, whatever your expectations, I will be able to provide you with reliable expertise to accompany you and assist you in all your needs.
I followed a cursus in the University Degree of Maritime Expertise
(ENSM), the Professional Union of Marine Surveyors (UPEM), the Studies and Services Committee of
Marine and Transport Insurers (CESAM) certifies that I have the following skills:
- Determine the causes of a disaster and then assess the amount of damage to a vessel,
maritime works or transported goods, - Provide technical advice, in the context of inspections, appraisals and diagnostics for
boats, yachting craft and ships, - Advice on loading heavy or bulky packages,
- Prescribe recommendations for offshore towing,
- Carry out weighings of ships or their visits with a view to their chartering,
